Wire Fraud is rampant in our ever-changing world.  Fraudsters are hacking into unsecure email accounts and stealing information on real estate and business transactions.  As Escrow Agent, we are responsible for ensuring your funds are safely protected – that is why it is so important that you read the following information, even though we utilize Qualia Connect. Staying informed is your best line of defense. 

We NEVER change our Wiring Instructions - Our Wiring Instructions will be sent to you via Qualia Connect, our safe and secure online portal. DO NOT accept requests to change to wiring instructions via email or fax as that is not how we will communicate with you.

At the Future of Real Estate Summit 2024, we learned that email is the new standard - which unfortunately is really a standard for FRAUD. We have found that Gmail, Yahoo and AOL email accounts are the email accounts hacked the most. Due to the unsecured nature of those email accounts, hackers have found a way to steal information, mirror email responses that look or appear to be legitimate, and attempt to intercept a wire transfer before it’s initiated. Additionally, we DO NOT wire any funds without receiving proper Disbursement Instructions.

We also learned that with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), hackers are able to expand their reach even further, by masking emails, masking voices through AI, and creating newer opportunities for victims to fall prey to. This is why our communications with everyone involved in your real estate transaction will be done through Qualia Connect. Safeguarding your information, money and the real estate transaction is our top priority!

If you are unable to access Qualia Connect, we ask that you please verify wiring instructions with one of our team members before initiating your wire to Spectrum Title Services, LLC.  We may be reached directly to confirm wiring instructions at 954-727-3347.

All of our email accounts are encrypted. Our wiring instructions are sent in PDF format to clients needing to wire funds for a transaction our firms may be handling in Qualia Connect.  Please ensure that any email you are receiving from us contains the following domains: jackwinlegal.com, @spectrumtitle.com, @spectrumtitlellc.com or @outbound.qualia.com.  Emails sent from Qualia come from @outbound.qualia.com and contain the Qualia logo and say “Sent from Qualia.” Any emails sent from domains not listed above should be disregarded.
